When I was a kid, I was able to attend the Masters in Augusta. My dad was a pharmacist and someone gave him the Masters tickets. I still have found memories of this place.
Have any of you had a chance to go the Masters? What memories do you have?
I've been lucky to go to The Masters every year since 2001. Hopefully my annual trip will continue for years to come. Every year there creates new memories. Two that should last quite a while are seeing both Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus play there final competitive rounds. Getting to watch "The King" play his way up the 18th hole for the last time was awesome. You could feel it in your bones as thousands of people lined the hole from tee to green, each one of us in silence, just taking it all in, well aware of what it was we were watching.
A few years later it was Jack's turn. I had a spot right up by the 9th green (he finished on hole 9 because of rain delays that year). He hit his approach shot to about 4 feet, it was great. Even though he missed the birdie putt (the place would have exploded), I don't think their was a dry eye in the gallery as "The Bear" walked off the back of the green for the final time.
